Hi Louise, I must say that I haven’t had the opportunity to read any of your work yet, I have recently read Silent Scream by Angela Marsons (loved it), which I discovered through the fab bloggers on twitter, and this is how I found out about you. Reading your post you have shown how if you keep following your dream and don’t give up it can become a reality. I wish you every success with the book, it is definitely on my wishlist, just need a few more spare hours to read all these new authors I am discovering, it is a good problem to have tho!! Good luck

Great post Louise! I’m so glad you didn’t give up. Rejection is hard to take but it makes you stronger. It’s your time now….enjoy it- you so deserve it!

My Gran used to say: ‘if at first you don’t succeed, try and try again’. Sensible words! I loved the book and I look forward to reading your next solo novel X

I’m so glad you battled through, Louise. I’ve had my fair share of rejections in this ever changing publishing world and figure that you have to write what you love, in the hope that someone else, somewhere, will love it too. Congratulations on your huge success. You are an inspiration. I can’t wait to start my copy of The Venus Trap x

Louise, it was you who gave me the push I needed to self-publish after first winning a big award and then being dropped. Like a stone. So this is a very personal thank you. Today, I watched Mark Lawson interviewing Katsuo Ishiguro and it’s good to know that even Booker Prize winners go back and recycle their abandoned projects. Good luck with Flytrap!

I so enjoy reading your books. As someone living in the US, I love learning new vocabulary and find myself “reading with an accent”‘. So glad I purchased my first Voss/Edwards book! I have just about read them all!

It just goes to show you that if you have a dream and believe in your product, never give up has to be the mantra until you find someone who can see the potential in your work. The title alone, The Venus Trap pulls me in!

Wow at least it shows you have strength and determination. Even when you were rejected, you still had hope. Now with Venus Trap you are showing all those so-called agents what you can achieve if you try. It’s worth it in the end, no matter how long it takes!
